Absolutely most fun and capable camera I’ve ever used. Good birding day out w/my son, a1 and FE200-600; Birds are cool and all, but man I can’t WAIT for Air Show Season!!!
I was lucky enough to come across this American Kestrel while it was hunting. I just missed a series of it diving into the grass but I was able to capture a few stationary shots.
A few more. Pacific Swallow. Flying from right to left, these were more challenging, as the foreground/background are busier and the birds were flying very close to the ground.
Sony A1 + Sony 200-600mm Handheld
From last weekend's trip to Death Valley. Sunday morning dawned crisp, and clear on the Mesquite San Dunes. This is one of many images I shot that morning.
Thank you Ed! A a couple hundred ducks at Oakley Street now.

Still don't have a shot of a Canvasback flying .Nice work
Thank you! Shooting at that location is almost like cheating. They call this spot "Wall of Shame". This time of the year there are a few hundreds ducks there and they are not afraid of people. Sometimes they get too close!
More from yesterday, first time to photograph long tail ducks, and first time to see a surf scoter. He was very very far away, the final JPEG file is only 1.1 MP.
