Really fine images Rajan!!! Great exposures and great colors.
I loved outdoor markets in my travels. Everything fresh and tasty!
Many times my only meal was to grab a loaf of fresh hot bread with chutney and a mango, banana for dessert!!
Great compositions!

Thank you, Dan. Indeed, nothing like farm fresh and oven fresh.

Indeed my friend. Many stories to tell about my impromptu visits to open air markets while "on-the-job". 1 of the few relaxing moments before off to another assignment! These markets were where I could mingle with the people and share a smile and a nice conversation even if I didn't speak the language very well. We communicated enough to know I was enjoying what they sold!!

Rajan, I am truly impressed with the IQ coming from the iPhone 12. Those images look like they were taken with a great either DSLR or mirrorless camera system, showing an excellent separation of the people from the smooth background.
My favorites are the two of Devaki, both the portrait and environmental images are superb and enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong, they are all great images, Rajan! Keep up the great work with whatever gear works for you.
Rajan, this is a great set and each image tells a story. I wonder if you would’ve not checked the EIFX box, could some one tell that these were shot on a iPhone 🤔. Good work as usual 👍🏻

I would NOT have guessed that these were from an iPhone!

Pretty impressive iPhone pics - from a phone?....great! Imagine what you could be getting with a real camera! :-)
Thank you, all.
The Portrait mode on the iPhone is impressive and allows for changes in depth of field after exposure. (I guess other high end smartphones have equivalent modes.) Computational photography is like magic and will only get better. One current shortcoming of the iPhone Portrait mode is that it does not allow for RAW capture. But I expect that to be remedied soon.
Joshua, my preferred gear currently is still the DSLR system. On these occasions the iPhone is all I had on me.
