So, is focus throw not something "just" built into the lens but that also works with the camera - something the L-Mount alloiance cameras have built into body software and Sony's do not? If so that would be an interesting development out of the L-mount alliance, agreement on in-body programing for lens features as opposed to just a unity on the mount.
In one of the promo videos of the new 70-200GMII, it's mentioned that focus throw can be controlled on FX-series cameras (which also use e-mount). So, I guess this is something that is disabled on photo cameras...
I know that FM doesn't really consider it a lens for head (and shoulders) portraits, but I intentionally bought it for just this reason. I once had a Pentax Limited FA 43 1.9 and loved this focal length on APS-C (=> approximately 65mm then) exactly for this very reason.
Don't know why, but to me, it just feels right (both while shooting and when looking at the results).

Interested in the 24 also. Heard good things. Let us know your thoughts when you do get it
I've been holding off on the 24 for now. Instead, I have the Voigtlander Color-Skopar 21/4 and the Zeiss Contax 28/2.8 C/Y. Both adapt well to the SL2-S.
Some English seaside with 35 and 65, unfortunately Amazon sent me a grey import 65, so it's going back due to lack of warranty and I'll source a UK one
