Alex is a very talented model that I got to do a model test with. He's one of many models that I'm hoping to get a chance to work with this Spring and Summer.
Both are lit with natural light and a silver reflector, shot using an original Canon 5D with a Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens attached. I'm sure many wont care for the lens flare in the wide shot, but I quite like it. Rather than toning them to match each other, I edited each one based on what I felt best matched the individual shot. For the wide shot I initially started it as a pure black and white, but I really wasn't satisfied with it until I introduced much warmer tones and ended up with a sepia inspired conversion.
