The clouds cleared up by 4:45am... But maybe bright lights of a car park blocked my view. I was standing in the car park of Carlingford Court getting old and gathering condensation on the lens filter and hood but I sorta can get a view if it's around 30°+ on the east from my place.. so I might just do that tomorrow rather than drive out and staking out a spot.
The film was e-100vs. I have to say that I like the colours that came out of the film more than the 1D2. You should use up your film before it expires! Otherwise you'll get really funky colours and Smelly will bag you out!
I've used the bronica for portraits before. Results aren't too bad, but e-100 is better off being used for other stuff.

Nice work Ed. I gotta try e100vs one day, I've only shot fujifilm slide before.
I have some expired RHPIII in 120 thats a little over 1yr out of date but has been fridged constantly. I wouldn't use it for anything that mattered, but at $4/ea, why not I say

e100vs is my favourite trannie film. It's not so great for skin tones, but it's not horrible, either. I still have 1 roll of vs left, and 4 rolls of e100, which I still think is pretty good.

Yeah, why not? Did you end up getting a medium format kit?
The yellow one can't be driven on the roads anyhow. It's not complianced though it's not that hard. I'd love to buy one though. Lovely Japanese spec car.
Did anyone see any news about the meteor shower? didn't seem to make the media at all.
Finally I saw it!!! It was slow moving and was the same brightness as a star. It must have came in on a very small angle because it lasted for ages and ages. I didn't have a camera out then but I did for the smoke trail it produced. But I did also see a fast moving one like you see on cartoons.
