James, I was talking about # 24. Not the Nikon girl.

15mm fishy is alright but you're right.. 17mm is not enough to cover all of Ed's gear... and everyone else's gear makes mine look small.

Leave that poor girl alone everyone, she can't help being a Nikon shooter!

No, there's nothing wrong with shooting Nikon. She's just not my type of girl...

Zane:
Your march patterns series is excellent!

Thanks James...glad you like them. I like the movement in these patterns...

I know Smelly, I was just refering to Nikon-Girl(tm) being in Zane's, Ed's, Richard's... what is it that attracts you about girls from the other side?

OK, OK - I'll stop now

The girl told me the Nikon camera is not hers but AP's and that they are moving over to canon for the faster frame rate.

Ed have you tried using image recovery software on your microdrive you might be supprised. I think i have a copy at home if you want to try it.

Pretty girls with big lenses... it's a dream come true!!!

Doesn't matter... she'll always be known as Nikon-girl...
Let's just hope she doesn't read FM Sydney threads!

It's kaput. It isn't recognised by any card reader.

Ed just a question about the 1d mk2, how does the shutter lag compare to a film camera or the 10d.

It's faster than any other camera that I have, but I'm not sure if you'd really notice it in actual use.

I can say from using it that it's faster. Maybe 50% quick but I got all into the shutter speed which probably distracted my attention there.

Well if she did... she'd know you think she's pretty, and that you're single and well, it maybe could be the start of something beautiful

Could be an fm.com first for this thread: two star crossed lovers meet despite the Motague's loyalty to the EF mount being incompatable with the F-Mount favored by the house of Capulate...

Two households both alike in dignity...

Zane i like the wide angle shots of yours. I only managed a few with the 16mm. Need a 2nd body soon!!

I think Zane and my shots of the nikon girl were better than Ed's. She looked prettier in our shots (while she was holding the camera up!!!).

Hope she's doesn't read this forum!!

OK, OK - gotta find some other hobby than annoying Ed, and it's been a while since I posted a picture to this thread, so here's one I took last year:

Grand Canyon (USA). D30 + 17-40 f/4L

Zane, this is the one I had enlarged to 20x30 btw

Try looking at the pre-made stuff at photo shops. They aren't the best but look OK.

Hey, James, that was a nice shot of the Canyon. I really want to see what the actual print 20x30 looks like

Thanks for your comment about my wide angles

hard to get cheap but good looking frames, try to get it laminated and mounted at Vision Graphics, it's a lot cheaper than getting a frame but looks gooooood Go in and check it out
