Hi Maurie,
I hope things are OK with you. Let us know if there's anything we can do.
A question for you all my insurance is due for replacement shortly I am currently with NMRA and have my camera a 300d and one lens as specifed items costing an extra $15 a month. I need to change the camera to the 20d as I have sold the 300d . I now have several more lenses and the flash etc is this the best way to go or are there insurance companies that would cover all gear on a seperate policy.
Also is the trip to Mt Wilson still on this weekend??
Sorry to hear about your wife Maurie hope things get better
I am paying an extra $250pa (I think, but should be no more than $300) for about $12000 of photographic equipment listed under NRMA's home and building insurance as "Specified Portable Valuable". Your listed equipment are covered anywhere in Aust or worldwide (with some minor restrictions). You have to specify the model and name of each item and its price paid. An invoice or valuation has to be provided if the value of an individual item is more than $3000 (another girl at NRMA said $5000). I think it's a good deal.
