Check out the council web sites. City of Sydney has a good "what's on" listing.
Btw, has anyone checked out the new PC from Asus.. the eeepc that's selling for $500 at Myers... it'd be a good way to check out your photos on a screen when you're on holidays etc.

It seems they sold out completely as for checking images it seems they would be ideal. as for storage they are solid state whic is perfect but they only have 4 8 & 16GB versions so would be a bit limited . Knowing how they big chains operate here I would guess the ones they are selling are the 4GB model. BTW they are only $199 in the USA or $227AUD
Hey Smelly with all this water around where are the photos of your cars reflected in the puddles
hydrotoast.. haha! With all these Christmas parties, I've been trying to get up early to do more shots with the puddles.... just trying to get hangovers first.
Hi All. Do you guys have experiences with MARUMI circular pols'? It is hard to find usable info on the net about this brand and also the casing doesn't even mention coating or such details either. :S
Spoolin you got one nice body there mate if only my dream's will come true
My trusty CRT is on it's last legs so i have been looking for a new screen.
Looking at spending around $500 or less.I have my eyes on the Samsung 226BW LCD Monitor 22" has any one had any experience with this screen ?
I do photoshop & games so it makes it hard.
Is the 3000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio to high ?
Do you think for that sort of money should I be looking at a new CRT ?
i don't think you can even get CRT's anymore. i have two 19" samsungs that cost me about $600 each when i bought them three years ago. One has started to fade a little bit, but the other one is still going strong. I think the colour rendition is reasonably accurate - probably as good as you're gonna get if you don't want to spend big on an EIZO. I've certainly been very happy with them.

I use a Samsung Syncmaster215T (21in widescreen) after using a widescreen I do not think I could go back to a 4:3 ratio screen sooo much usable re-esate on the wide screen. I colour profile every 2 months with a "Colorvison spyder", the person whom I borrow the spyder off just upgraded from a Viewsonic 19in to the 226BW and the difference in the Samsung is like chalk and cheese.
Not sure where you are looking at buying from but I have found these guys are fairly competitive theie shop front is in Northrocks RD at the Northmead end http://www.itestate.com.au/products_detail.asp?code=PD00004726
