Don't sweat it YET, Zab. I bought all my stuff in the same store and I have not seen my rebate yet either. I might start checking into it in a week or so.
Give me until the end of January and then I will start sweating! Need it to help with the initial repayments.
The further out of the city you get, the easier it is to spot... the tail is actually quite massive compared to what I saw... I've seen pics from Melbourne that had a really really long trail that you could not miss.
I made some panoramic photos using a stitching software. Objects tend to move away from each other using wide ange lens. This can create a problem when stiching photos to each other.
Some big ships were staying at Semi-Circular Quay this weekend. Very nice panoramas can be made from the top of the Circular Quay trainstation, starting from the the Museum of contemporary art till the opera house. Beautiful night shots can be made, however the whole trainstation/highway/walkway vibrates beacuse of the traffic, i had to scrap many of the photos as they were too soft.
Has anyone been to darling harbour friday on the Japanese festival? I shot some karate kids.

You get quite a good view from here in Canberra.
You can see some of the shots the Canberra flickr group have taken here
I will be going to the Chinese new years year for sure. Any idea to shot them from a different angle? I will not buy any gun and buttlet, just to make a different shot
I got my cash back from Canon. I feel ambivalent. It's really nice to get some honey back, but they could have sent some email along they way telling to exercise some patience coz i was queued.
