Can I ask another question now?.........
Bad luck, I am going to ask anyways.
Because my budget is limited, I am thinking of dropping the 14mm that I was going to purchase to allow me to buy an extra battery, extra 580EX and an imagetank from Vosonic. I think that the 14mm would get limited use and the others would be invaluable. Is there any reason for me to rethink my new purchase plan.
My perfect plan would be to:
1. build a time machine, go back to '99
2. make a dot com startup, name it [any noun].com
3. add hype, cash-in on a huge IPO, try not to mention I don't have any assets or ideas and my business plan was a template I downloaded from the web and coloured in with crayons.
4. come back to '06, live a life of lenses, ladies and luxury.
Warning: not all the above is true, and this whole post prob adds no value to the thread. I am aware of this and I apologise but I haven't slept much.
BTW, you will know I have built a time machine because in the future I will come back and edit this post before I post it. No that won't work. um... I dunno

Been there done that.***refer below
Only problems were:
1/ After going back 1999, I failed to stop in 2003 to sell my stocks & business as a result the company went bust and I now own people money
2/ On reentry to the present the time machine suffered a major malfunction and no longer works.
*** Note: I have been there to the place with no sleep. Increased staff has helped in the last month but for 2 years 72 hours with brief snatches of sleep were not uncommon. Hence the reason I am looking for other avenues of employment before we go back to the way things were. I sm borderline burnt out.
I don't have any good photos to show, so here are the first ever shots of the sydney opera house and skyline after 629 pages of this "hi sydney" thread!!!

I know its late notice but i'm going out to Oran park tommorrow for the truck racing .If anyone wants to meet up i'll be the geek with the canon and black Ferrari cap
There are a lot of pages through this thread and I am trying to read it through. If anyone could help me, I am looking for an insurer to cover equipment, public liabilty and workers comp?
I need the equipment insurance as I don't want to shell out if anything happens to the new gear. Public liabilty if someone cansee where they are going and workers comp because my primary employer requires it (before they will give their approval for secondary employment). I will be setting up as a one-man show on event photography and if all goes well I can say goodbye to my primary employer.
