Yeah.. I've taken compact tripods as hand carry... I hang it outside my hand carry luggage. Fortunately for me, I've taken the camera bag, another hand carry bag and hanging off that the tripod.

Mind you I lost my nice compact one... I really need a small tripod..

Should be fine. Maybe they've tightened the criteria since I last flew internationally, but I got away with almost double the allowable luggage limit.

Well...new stuff on the way... :P
Have been working heaps, so am just ordering the following:

- 24-70L 2.8
- 100mm f.2.8 Macro
- Sigma 8mm Fisheye
- Kenko tube set
- filters.. lens hood.

Wo! Cant wait, the 24-70 will fit in perfect with the 10-22 and 70-200.
Will give the whole macro thing a go and see what all the hype is about.

Sorry... Im all excited.

Anyone heading out to the drift and supermoto thing happening out at Oran Park?
