hehe - it's just about us nerds and how sometimes "don't worry - we'll do it with XML" can be considered to be a complete answer. Maybe I was a little bored
Guys.. I got an idea.. to make things active.. I propose a 50 f1.8 challenge. Any camera (so regardless of FOV), any genre... but must be using a 50 f1.8 cheapy (but excellent) lens.
OK.. let me set out it clearly.. I may not have said it properly..
Lens: 50mm f1.8 cheapy lens (or 50mm 1.4.. it's close enough ) but no attachments like extension tubes (so macro will be hard). Body: Anything but I know DOP and actual focal length will be different depending on FOV Aperture / Shutter speed: Any setting Genre: Anything Image editting: No cropping. Just the basics editting. Colour, sharpness, contrast, saturation, etc. Basically no drawing Critical rule: Have fun! Newbies to Pro's are on the same level playing field. There's no prizes so there's nothing to win.. or lose. Judges: Everyone I guess votes for someone else's work except your own. (Maybe vote somehow.. work that out later.. maybe PM?) Submissions: Each person can submit 3 pictures of any genre.
Have I covered everything? Maybe cut off date? Give it a month?
