There must be something going funny with Sydney's sudden streak of rain and lightning although it is quite fun to watch. Didn't have my camera with me during the last few storms. Just yesterday when I was crossing the Harbour Bridge you can see lightning striking non stop!
Oh well, looking at the weather trend lately I guess there's always another chance to capture a few more

This Echo was in one of the car clubs I was in yesterday... this little Echo has TRD suspensions all round and a few minor mods. Went quite well for what it was and certainly handled itself on top of Wakefield nicely. I was tempted to have a go though... didn't.. I didn't find the driving position to be confident to punt that about as hard as I would want it to be.
Oh, don't be too surprised if you do get beaten by an Echo.. bolt on TRD superchargers are becoming more and more common as a mod even if it's a fwd.
Zane i like the second shot from your friday ones . Looks like the post office at Martin place . The angle is a bit distracting though . Also the second shot of the flowers . Nice colour.
Smelly .Nice catch on the MX-5 . I hate the toyota echo (not your shot) just the car . Who is the designer at Toyota (and i use the term loosely) . The echo and now the hilux have a toy look about them .Not very pleasing on the eye . Weird proportions .

No they were not cancelled I did not spend much time there on Sat I was just sussing things out for race day (Sun). Did not bother on Sunday but you could hear them from my place
Hmm... interesting... wonder if it was a crop... the thing is that there's no real "blur" that the cars are moving but it's an interesting concept. Certainly get 9 shots in a row by doing that.
hey matt... that shot was at oran park...... but i have done them at eastern creek and wakefield as well...... i haven't done 1 in about a year..... [ i worked for filco when they ran them at eastern creek so it was free for me] dam cost too much when you have to pay.... i will hopefully do 1 in the new year at oran park before it closes..... email so i have your email and ill let you know......
