I had 2 cameras hanging off me.. the better half had the 350D. I think I'll get that as the 2nd body.. pity it's SILVER!! AHH!!! Oh well, for the price I got it for, can't complain.
I still got a fair few shots left on the IX to go... it's been a while.. have to use it up.. but don't have anything good to waste film on.
it's a basically an upsized Taronga zoo, but because of its larger size, animal are further away, and i don't have a tele lens tele enough to get any shots and plus the weather was crap, it's a bright sunny day and I lost patience and the ticket was expensive
It's a large town i think like Campbelltown. Well Campbelltown doesnt have an airport. photo worthy.....hmm..... I think even Goulburn is more photo worthy than Dubbo
Well part of the trip was to photograph the canola fields near Bathurst and Cowra. I will post some of those pics when i have time to process them
I can still first off 9 shots before you get to your 7th on the 350D. I'd still use the 10D more than a 350D since it fits well in the hand. The 350D is too small and still awkward for me to handle.
MY problem with DVD is that I've got a laptop computer which burns DVDs at 4x speed. It takes about 15-20 mins to burn a DVD, which is fine. However when I want to download these pics from my DVD back to the computer, it takes forever and I mean forever, because I never had the patience to wait for the whole DVD to be downloaded. Well, last time, it took nearly 45mins to download approximately half of the DVD. I am not sure whether this is normal.
I've got a 40GB XDrive 6210 and I will be traveling end of the year for about 3 and half weeks and I know that 40GB is not going to be enough. I am thinking of either replacing the 40GB HDD with 80GB HDD or buying a portable DVD burner to take with me as well.
The pro of a DVD burner is that it is safer, i am not putting all my eggs in one basket. The con is that it may take my whole life to download say 40GB of information into my computer.
