Try buying another flash that can act as a master and one as a slave. This means you can move the mobile flash anywhere you want.

you could also buy the ST-E2, but the off-camera flash cord is cheaper.

This was converted in C1 using the etcetera hi-sat colour profile.

Webcase I was there on both days at EC. On Sunday I only took a few shots as I wanted to watch the race more.

Looks like your panning shots turned out well. I think I'll have to try for even slower exposures on mine next time.

I also stuck some up in the sports forum https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/233955

I've never seen one of these before! The hi-saturation colour looks good. Is it similar to adding saturation with camera raw on cs?

A friend of mine played their first live gig in a thrash band called Inslain. The venue Harp Hotel in Tempe had poor lighting so I started shooting with my Sony F717 at F2 1/40s and 800iso and I couldn't get a decent exposure. I next tried with a flash which was ok for a couple of shots but it didn't bring across any mood in the photo.

I then had a brain wave and switched on nightshot IR mode and was amazed it brought out so much detail in just about near darkness!

It's upside-down... For the saturation, I wouldn't be surprised if you could get the same effect in ACR.

Yeah, they look pretty good to me! Goes to show you can't do everything with amazingly expensive SLRs.

That one surprised me , it was at 1/160 normally anything under 1/320 doesn't turn out to well for me panning .

I know the Harp! Good venue for a gig like this. My friends expiremental band Big in Ballerina Circles has played there a couple of times... But I wouldn't like to live next door
