What a fantastic set, Eric!! Absolutely stunning.
Your words are very much appreciated. They are quite special creatures and I felt fortunate to be able to spend an afternoon with them before they headed to the sea ice.

Thanks Rex....so many times one gets lots of shots but basically they are all the same....these guys performed as if on cue.....I spent a lot of time pinching myself and just shaking my head in disbelief.

Beautiful images! You captured some wonderful interactions.
Dave
Thanks Dave....I know just how fortunate we were...it made the first 6 days of shooting nothing but caribou 400 meters away and a few ptarmigan a distant memory

Terrific set, you captured the interactions between mom and cubs beautifully.
Many thanks....their intimacy was so apparent and I hoped that the images did that justice.

Thank you for sharing these, I think the mother bear looking right at you is my fave, but all are fascinating.
Much appreciated....they knew we were there but really paid no attention to us. Staying at a very significant distance away let them just be bears in the snow and allowed us to witness and photograph their natural behavior.
