That looks impressive! I thought it only did that freeze/thaw/rain/snow combo thing in the south. That type of weather here usually brings down a bunch of power lines because of the thick ice buildup.

Woa thats crazy!
Here in Merryland we get this a few times each winter! Where I live is in a "bowl" and the cold air falls fast and settles in the bottom of the bowl! Hence the snow to ice to rain to ice to gone!

As I stated above "g-m-j", my house is in a "bottom of a bowl" and the land rises all around me! This happens a few times a year!
Thanks for your comments. Greatly appreciated!

Superb image Dan...great capture.
Thank you also Chip! The cold temps around here have made for some great water shooting! The predicted huge snow storm headed our way is very inviting to go out and shoot BUT I do not have a "tracked" vehicle available!!!

Gorgeous shot, Dan. Those ice storms can be beautiful--until the power lines start coming down.
Cheers,

Yeah that be true Brent! The power seems to do ok here. Most power lines are underground except the main feeder lines. That is where we have problems!
It has been snowing since yesterday. Very fine snow, then ice, then sneet(snow and sleet)...A "dusting" compared to Wisconsin and Iowa!
Thanks!
