I continue my pandemic distraction of going through my very large archive of raw files from previous years. (I do get into the field to photograph still, but the opportunities right now are greatly diminished.)
For a long time I have done an end-of-the-year review of that year's raw files, and I often find a few images that somehow escaped attention. (I have some theories about why and how that happens, but I'll spare you the details here.) But during the past year the review has extended to more than a decade in the past. (One discovery: How much better current cameras are at keeping the sensor dust at bay!)
This intimate landscape comes from a visit to Portland, Oregon that gave me an opportunity to spend part of a rainy day in one of that city's parks. More background posted here.
