The story: the light here was absolutely off the charts here. Almost an hour before this, I was heading toward the beach (about 10 minutes from my home) and I had been checking all the cloud projections and radar reports for where the clouds would be, and in the blue hour I went over a bridge (the only place you can actually see over the trees in Florida!) and what I saw went against the reports. So at the junction where I had planned to go north, I went south instead. I ended up chasing this cloud system to the exact place my wife and I got married on the beach! As I ran over the hill I knew it was likely going to be a show. I used two cameras, and simultaneously photographed wide verticals with one, and shot zoomed panned wave shots with the other, and in this case came away with quite a few keepers. I was so exhilarated I felt like I had drank a pot of coffee! 😃
Fantastic image. I love how you merge knowledge of your surroundings, creativity in your craft, and skilled processing to consistently create such spectacular images.
Disclaimer: Oh wow, sorry for being SO ridiculously tardy on my replies here! Life has really been quite challenging due to more family emergencies and such. I genuinely hope everyone is doing well, as well as their family and loved ones!

Love the way the water trail drags you into the image.
Thank you very much. That 11mm does wonders for that! I have always loved that walk in a type of linear perspective feel.

Hey man! Thank you so much! That sort of intuitive part, especially with studying and responding to the weather to capitalize on it does take some time to learn and trust!

Mark, awesome shot man. That is a dandy for sure. Chasing the clouds in the morning is definitely the name of the game. Hope you are well--we are sure enjoying our time in Florida! Two weeks down, one week to go.
