From late September in Yellowstone National Park...
While not camping out for days watching grizzly bears 791 and 881 on the elk kill in Hayden Valley, there was certainly much more to be seen and enjoyed in Yellowstone! What a great diversion from the pandemic!
Here's to 2021 and hoping we can all start traveling more again soon in search of fabulous wildlife!!

Ahhh, Yellowstone. Like a box of chocolates - you just never know what you're gonna get. Nice series.
You got that right. It was hard to tear myself away from the grizzly elk kill from time to time, but there is so much to find, as as you said, you never know what you're going to get. Part of the fun!

Mind blown!! Do you know how the Bison in #4 might have died? Its skinned tail makes me think a wolf kill??
Thanks. The bison in #4 was hit and killed by car. The rangers dragged it away from the road. But it was not there for long. The rangers were not even satisfied with that and returned with a backhoe and completely removed it.
I see far too many people speeding and tailgating in Yellowstone. Just take your time, enjoy the scenery and environment, and you'll find things.

So many great images, very hard to pick a favorite, you certainly did well during your visit!
Thanks Juan! So much of the park has great potential it's always a debate with myself about where to go and search each day. But there is so much there it almost doesn't matter
