Exquisite light on the first one. #3 is a close second. Well done!
Thanks Rajan. This morning was the first after fires broke out 50 miles away and the smokey air gave me a nice orange glowing light for the first hour.
Your image that appeared in FM always impressive and sensationally beautiful.
We wish you have also wonderful 2021 in good health and wish to see your images in the years to come.

Nice set. I assume these are from this summer or fall? 10K elevation must be deep buried in snow by now.
Thank you. These were in September, the morning wildfires went crazy in California. I'd planned a week-long hike on the JMT and slept here at high elevation the night before to acclimatize. The skies were red and gave me some unusual lighting to play with! Unfortunately, the JMT hike was shut down because of the fires. SAD!

That’s a beautiful area. The planet of the sunstar in the final shot is amazing.

‘Placement’. Damn iPhone.
Thank you. PLACEMENT did take some time. I kept moving my tripod a little higher, then a little lower. I found that if I set it just a little too low and waited, then the sun rose up while i could shoot it.

Agree last shot is best. I live so close and always wanted to visit and this increases my desire to go there.
The close places are always the last ones we visit sometimes. With the pandemic, it has me looking at landscape sites within a few hours drive. You will be happy if you visit this serene spot.
