While I was out shooting birds with my new RF 100-500mm + 1.4x Tele.... There was a break in the action and I saw bees.
So here is a Bee shot at 700mm, at F16, Handheld. The RF 100-500mm focuses pretty closely, and the IS is very effective, but I was still surprised to get any detail in the bee.
Here is another, processed differently. At this focal length, I find I have to crop very little if the action is in the farther half of the field, and gives me more wiggle room in processing for any detail or noise, etc.
Great shots! I personally don't think these aren't that challenging for a DSLR. In all cases, a single spot AF point landed on the couple's faces would have worked very well. It is nicer with eye af though for compositional reasons in a shoot like that though.
Have to admit it was pretty liberating not having to worry making sure I nail focus like I would with a DSLR.
Nice shots! Man do I love the Sigma 135 - one of the best lenses ever made, IMO. So glad I was able to pick up a mint condition used one earlier this year.

Yea exactly what I meant! Easier to compose without having to worry about placing AF points on the subject and also there were a few shots that were candid which made a lot easier with the R6's AF.

I do not have a paid acct to post here but I got my R6 about 6 weeks ago, I have been SOOO impressed with the IQ. I have had 3 headshot sessions in the last 2 weeks and with the Sigma 105, the IQ is banger!!
It is making shooting MUCH more fun because I can engage my clients and not have to worry about nailing focus, I can let the camera do the work while I make the client relaxed. For this alone it was worth the investment from Nikon!
I have done 2 landscape shoots and the colors are fantastic, I am only posting to social media so the 20mp has been a non issue from my D810 (36mp).

Just a note - if you have your pictures hosted anywhere else, you can embed them here without the paid account. I have the account because I sell stuff here, but all my photos are links to my website.

I bought a Sigma 135 from someone at a great price with the intent of using just once and then selling for a profit. However just like what happened years ago with the 85L, I fell in love with the IQ of that lens, and it has been in my bag ever since.
