Thanks, I was down that way last week at Petroglyphs, whereabouts east of ABQ, I'm new around these parts?
Small town called Edgewood, off I-40. Sometimes I ride up to Santa Fe on my motorcycle the 'back way'. If you're new around here, lots of good places to photograph.

Thought that might be the place! Yeah I've done quite a bit of shooting since I arrived and you are right lots of places still to see.
I've done the High Road a few times, the last time about a month ago there was a spectacular sunset after leaving Chimayo.
I have been looking back over the quality and "nature" of the detail captured in many of my 1DX(mk1) and 6D(mk1) images and they are still stunning. I use a 32" 4k monitor for this and it is a perfect match. Yes I use Sony 42MP and Cannon 45MP cameras now, but I also use an R6 for its 1DX-like qualities.
I took my R6 and Tamron 100-400mm to the zoo today and was really impressed with how well they performed! I think the lowest I shot was like ISO 800 so it was a good test in high ISO and the images turned out real nice too.
At first I was trying to use Animal Eye AF which pretty much didn’t work at all then I finally realized that I had it in human still... once I swapped it to Animal it worked much better, although I wouldn’t say it’s as effective as human. I do leave Servo on Auto but maybe if I swapped it to Case 2 for example it would stick to the animals eye more.
