WTB (Want to Buy) thread posters should be aware of unsolicited PMs asking them to communicate via email.
Many of these posts are being flagged as scams and there should be no communicating outside the PM system to avoid the potential of fraud.
DO NOT participate in any transaction outside the FM server and PM system. Make sure to conduct business with members with proven participation and feedback.

Thanks for the info Fred. I got unsolicited PMs asking me to email someone both of the times I posted “WTB” item here this week. Both of these occasions the person PMed did not have any feedback, so I refrained myself from acting on those PMs
