p.1 #1 · Still are the waters, six years in making
This is a photo I've been trying to get for the last six years. Every time there has been something on the way. Either the noctilucent clouds were absent, the weather was too windy or otherwise not cooperative or the flowers weren't blooming. This year I got close, but unfortunately the last couple frames weren't in focus, so the background wasn't sharp.
But, this week I checked the photos again and noticed that I have taken the background photos that were in focus. They were a bit too light, but after adjusting them to match with the rest of the frames, I was able to stack the image again.
At last, the picture I have been trying to get for the last six years was finally reality.
Background: July, at 2am, so night. Water depth around three feet. Leaves are rather small, about four to six inches. The camera was about an inch from the surface.

Congratulations on your persistence leading to the creation of a beautiful photo. I've never seen noctilucent clouds before (except on youtube ).
Thanks!
Yes, noctilucent clouds are something you don't usually see unless you live relatively near the northern or southern pole. These are from Finland, about 61°N. They can be seen during summer. The best month in north is July, when you can see them many times per week. They're not always as bright and clear as in this time.
