Fabulous documentary work Henrik. Sounds like an outing you will remember the rest of your life and have great photos to take you back there.
Stay well,
Morris
Thanks Morris. I'm still finding sand in new places.

Great shots and great experience. It's been over 3 years since I spent time with the wolves at Hallo Bay and I still think of them everyday. Sounds like you've been bitten also

Henrik, my friend, you never cease to amaze me. I am living my dream vicariously thru your eyes.
Bravo and so glad you were able to do this amazing trip. Love the pics. and a big vote from me.
Thanks buddy. You're wayyyyyyyyyy to kind - although I could very well say the same about your images.
Okay, so I stopped by for the first time in many months while I had a few minutes. Then I saw this and had to comment. These are marvelous H. I am envious of your experience, well except the weather but we know how that goes. Super job on these, I'm sure that will be an experience that will stick with you.
An excellent set of photos, every one. The lighting and weather may have been a handicap, but you clearly overcame it all.
You talk about some of the things you learned during your week. The wolves also clearly learned, too. Wolves are famously shy of humans, and yet you spent a week with them. You obviously must have communicated somehow that you were not a threat, and they received and understood that message. Otherwise, you'd have seen them only once.
Very well done in a lot of ways. (I like your idea of classified information, too.)

Amazing shots along with explanatory notes about your observations of the pack. I especially like your capture of the alpha male. He was definitely sending a message about who was boss! YGMV.
Yeah, he certainly did. Regarding that encounter, one thing I noticed was that while he was delivering his message to us, the other 4 wolves were just chilling out waiting for him to be done. They too knew he was the boss. We all did.

Thanks for sharing, must of been so much fun.
Hmmm, let’s see. Wet from the inside and the outside, sand everywhere, wind burn, no formal toilet, hours and hours waiting, sand flies......heck yeah, you’re spot on. Loved it. Seriously, when they showed up, everything else forgotten in 1/500th of a second. 😇

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! What a coincidence. 😊. Hope you’re keeping well, bud. Looking forward to one day when that border reopens. I think a reunion is in order. Been far too long.
