Had some gorgeous light today so we went to Golden Acre Park to enjoy the last of the autumn colours. Perfect chance to further test my new Viltrox 56mm 1.4 for my Fuji.
Would love to know what you think of the images. I have to say the more I use the lens the more I'm impressed by it.
I love the colors and you captured some really cute moments. I'm sure they love the photos. My only critique would be that the contrast seems too high in some of these shots (1, 2, 3, and 5).
Excellent images, Phil! While the red leaves are attractive but I prefer the isolation and selective focus of the last image. The “framing” of the two is gorgeous. Overall, beautifully done and a lovely family!
Thanks for the comments guys. I'm lucky my wife and daughter don't mind standing in front of the camera whilst I test the new lens
With regards to the high contrast, it's a look I've kind of settled on and apply the same settings to all my stuff inside Capture one. I used to develop each set differently but I'm keen to get my own style and look.
