Do you prefer some aspects of R5 over before?
I had a Sony system before but never really liked the ergonomics on the Sony bodies, not enough finger place between the grip and lenses, right side lens release etc.
The lenses were excellent however, but not better than the new Canon RF lenses, both are top performer lenses.
I like the R5 body, excellent ergonomics for me and a super nice setup with the 24-105 and 100-500 lenses. I love the reach and easy handholding capability of the R5+100-500 lens combination amplified by the 1.6x crop mode with 17MP files.
Stunning landscapes, and a beautiful brochure for marketing the R5. I am amazed at the background details of the trees in the shadows from the 100-500mm lens. The R5's DR appears to give you great opportunities to post process photos with strong contrast lighting. Well Done!
That is a great destination for both photos and bringing family.
Which other stops did you make with your R5, I mean your daughter 😀 and R5.
Winter is a great time to come to this location as well
