p.1 #1 · Lowepro Protactic BP 450 AW II question

Anybody using this with a pro size DSLR? I’m shooting with a Nikon D500 and battery grip and wondering if it is deep enough to fit this combo. Really like the looks of this bag.

M, I've never used or seen that pack but I do own a 350.Personally I could never see going bigger than 350 and having to carry it too. Maybe for car transport.
The 30 is big enough to carry my 1Dxll with a 200 1.8 attached. That's a HUGE combo and can still have another body and and a few more lenses but that's already over 25 pounds!
The 450 must be HUGE!!!
I doubt a 500 with a grip is very big, so yeah, the 450 would be overkill for that and probably could attach a 500mm to it!
For a full 450 you'd need a wheelbarrow!!! LoL
I would compare closely if it's made in a 350 version.
Good luck
John

I have the 450AW II and it is big enough to fit my 500 f4 in with the hood reversed but just a bit short to fit with my gripped d850 attached on. So the gripped D850 have to be at the sides. It has plenty of space for a gripped d500 but i'm not sure what lens will you be using with it.

Thanks and will be using it with a 500 pf 5.6, 70-200 2.8, 16-80 2.8 and accessories.

I think you definitely have enough space for those 3 lenses and the gripped D850. Leaving just a bit of space left for accessories. Batteries and the smaller accessories can definitely fit in those pockets and sleeves on the laptop compartment side.
