I like to spend some time every year with herons IBISs, & their ALLIES (specially in breeding season)
I am becoming more and more selective of the locations I choose for best isolation and background. Here is a selection from season 2020. Hopefully you like and I always welcome honest feedback
- Faizan
1. Glossy Ibis
2. White Ibis
3 Little Blue Heron
4. Black crowned night heron
5. Little Blue Heron - They are fun to watch. they follow a weird flight pattern with abrupt movements up and down in flight. Here one is coming in to land almost horizontally
A very strong set Faizan. 1, 4 and the last are my favorites. The light on your first glossy ibis is perfect for bringing out the iridescent colors and this makes me wonder why you posted the second glossy ibis image which is a good image yet is much more ordinary. You did a very nice job with the white ibis as well.

simply marvelous, Faizan. always wondering why is it that when we shoot together, you shots are way better than mine?
