This was just a quick setup to test the fps while using flash the other night but I was pleasantly surprised. The R was very frustrating as it's FPS went down to about 1 per second when using flash. The R6 seems to continue to shoot 12 FPS even when using flash.
Mine arrived from B&H Sunday, quicker than I expected since they only promised standard shipping. The only problem was work has been so busy that this morning was my first opportunity to shoot with it. Cars and Coffee is my standard test subject since it happens every Saturday here in Franklin.
The sun was intense this morning and pushed the dynamic range. Overall I'm pleased with the first outing and look forward to trying landscapes, portraits, and other subjects.
My girlfriend asked me to take some pictures of the family dog. The R6 tries to keep up, bit I am finding I will need to keep tweaking settings to get more keepers. Still, it is so much easier to AF that to try with the 1DxII
Same here. I'm happy with my current camera. I'm willing to wait till the price drops $500-$700 to snag one up. Hopefully by then more inexpensive 3rd party RF glass will be out too.

How is the Autofocus with adapted / Canon-EF Lenses? I wanna buy the R6 but I can't and I don't want to buy the expensive f/1.2 Lenses
They work just as good if not better than on DSLR, with better focus accuracy of mirrorless. Here are some shots at a cosplay event in my area recently. Granted, these are no quick action shots, but it's still the R6 image thread so here goes. I used the R6 with the EF 70-200 II through the official adapter. Eye AF worked flawlessly, and AF was instant.

Seemless! The EF lenses work just as well as the RF ones. Over time you might determine that it's worth investing in the RF glass. I shoot professionally and decided that it was a pain to keep switching lenses with the adapter. So I purchased the key RF lenses and still adapt my 17-40 and 15mm Fisheye as I use them so little. When the 18-45 RF gets released sometime soon, I will replace the 17-40.
Out with my family fishing for salmon on the river tonight. I put the fishing rod down for a few minutes and picked up the R6 + 500 F4 II for a few shots. Ended with a 23 pounder for the smoker.
Has anyone done some urban handheld high iso low light photography with the R6? I'm interested to see if the R6 is a nice addition to the R5 for urban night city shooting with different light sources.

What specific settings do you want a sample image to be? I have my R6 handy and guess I can get out tonight and take some samples for you. Like what shutter speed / fstop / focal length / iso value would you need?

I'd like to see some large aperture shots 1.2 to 2.8 hand held with iso's between 800 to 12800. For me it is important to see if the lower mp sensor from the R6 is a better option than just using the R5 and topaz denoise. Thanks!

It was a bit rainy tonight, so I couldn't get to a more interesting spot. But I did try to have various combinations of settings. ISO was ranging from ~400 to 12800, aperture from 1.2 to 10, shutter from 1/25 (some shots I wanted to test out the IBIS) to 1/2000 (since the other two makes the image too bright). These shots are by no means good photos or to be enjoyed in an artistic aspect, they are just samples for the ones interested. Hopefully some of them can serve their purpose.
I used the R6 with the EF 85mm f1.2 ii (through adapter). Both RAW files and original SOOC jpgs are included, just in case. Download full images here

No offense, but with the out-of-stock situation and very few delivered to the hands of preorder users, I doubt many places have it handy to be rented...
