Joshua this series is amazing, really great captures. You always seem to find beautiful backgrounds where the color just compliments the subject (which is always tac sharp).

Dave
Dave, thank you for your kind words! I spend some time at the site and there are days, when I went home with practically nothing, like last Sunday, there was barely any action that day and there used to be 2 owls at this burrow but now only one. Who knows what happened to the other one... . The corporation of the target is of course the most important factor. The lighting in the morning is pretty consistent. It is true that you just have to setup your gear or stand where you get the least distraction from vegetation. After that, it is more a waiting time for the action to take place and get ready when it happens.

Very cute mustache! Joshua, you must be the owe whisperer!
Douglas, thank you very much! If you hang out at the location a decent amount of time and often enough, we are increasing our odds in scoring some keepers.

Amazing shots Joshua ! There's something very satisfying about viewing a photo and thinking "perfect, wouldn't change a thing". #7 is that.
