These two used to dance together years ago and had the idea of reuniting to make some photos together. Gaël has a pretty impressive frame (I call him Mr Clean) which I counter balances quite nicely the Olivia's elegance and grace (who is also quite muscular as she is a yoga teacher most of her time now).
Mark, wow, what a superb work you did there! The two dancers are very impressive; I love the poses and the lighting. The background is clean and not distracting but maybe a tad too “industrial” for my taste. I am not sure whether a dark-colored backdrop would be better... I am just playing with the idea but at any rate, those images are truly great and EMV.
I can agree with "WOW"!!! - but am more in tune with your setting than Joshua. There are a number of choices going on here (during shooting and in post) and all I do is just sit back and enjoy your (and your subjects) artistry. Not certain I would or could put this together the way you have and you have inspired me to soak in your visual power. Thanks for posting these exceptional photographs.

Many thanks, most appreciated ! Funny you mention the background, as when I started shooting, I was exposing a bit more for the grey background, then I dialed it down a stop to make the models stand out more, but I could even bring it down another stop (or two) next time
