Completely not true.
You should have a defective lens, or something else...
as of this moment, i had tried 3 copies, all same results but different level of decentering. in terms of sharpness in center-mid corner-corner, they'^re just same,,,impossible to have 3 defective copies in a month.I believe you dont have GM135 at all or a defective one

Sadly I've already sold this lens off. Not due to the quality it produces but more so to the fact I'm switching brands so getting rid of all my FE glass. When this lens releases on RF mount it will be an instant buy for me!

There will be one key difference. Sigma licenses the FE-mount specs and communication protocol from Sony. This makes for very reliable use and interoperability of Sigma lenses on Sony cameras, also with future generations of Sony FE-mount cameras. Regarding the Canon RF-mount Sigma will have to reverse engineer everything, so there is no guarantee for reliable interoperability between Sigma lenses and Canon RF bodies in the future, not even with new generations of firmware for Canon RF bodies. Canon and Nikon do not license specs or communication protocols to third parties.
This is a risk one should be aware of.
Sony FE-mount and Leica/Panasonic/Sigma L-mount are the most future proof mounts for mirrorless Sigma glass.

Very true! I’ve been told that Samyang use the EF protocol for the RF lenses so it will be interesting to see if Sigma do the same and how it will affect performance.

I couldnt resist ... it was itching to replace my Samyang 85/1.4 with this new Sigma (on a A7iii). Ordered in a local store with a nice discount.
Keep the pictures coming Looking forward to use mine after christmas.
Merry christmas to all of you!
Same here! Just placed the order on Amazon ($1050 after CC discount). Can't wait to pair it up on my A7III
I was going to wait for a possible 135 f/1.8 DN, but think this will fit my needs better.
