hi all, i just have this lens, i really liked it after 85GM,,its sharper and AF accuracy is more consistent than 85GM at F1.4.
I tried two lenses both were decentered, how about yours? the 2nd unit was much better than 1st one and i'm keeping the 2nd one,,Also on one two of the reviews on the net i also saw decentering with this lens, at one of the review, reviewer also mentioned that and the second one was a youtube review.
How about your copies?
I also have mighty 135GM and it's way way better lens than sigma 85 DG DN in terms of sharpness, sharpness uniformity across the edges, distortion control, AF speed and accuracy etc..GM135 is from another universe.

how about decentering of your copy? how did you test it and results? thanks...mine 2 copies are decentered, very frustrating.
My Sigma 85/1.4 DG DN Art (the new one) is well centered. I used my regular test method. I can't upload any images here but my method is described in this post over at DPR with images as well. It is the Samyang 45 I test on the DPR post, but I use the same method and target for all my lens tests.

Curios to see your 135 corners.
Or those from 85GM.
Anyhow, as Jim Kasson stated, this test is strongly dependent on too many variables to be considered accurate.
The best is to look at two RAW files with the two lenses in the same session, same parameters, subject etc.

How is that decentered?
How does it compare to your 135 GM corners?
I also see little sharpness difference between my Sigma and my GM (on A7III), the former is even slightly better centered in my case...
with that lens , whenever i take a photo landscape or flat curtains-surfaces, i can see sharpness drop on upper right corner. on the photo i provided, the rightest one belong to upper right corner, it's a bit softer but on the flat wall-curtain-surface photos, upper right corner is clearly softer than left corner...However on GM, the extreme upper-lower /left right corner are exactly same, tack sharp, what an amazing lens.

Well, it would be easier if you simply linked to 135 GM corners for us to evaluate...
Also your Sigma example varies in exposure, so it makes the evaluation a bit harder, but I agree that the rightmost looks the worse...
When doing the test on a closer subject, such as a wall, you need to be really careful to align the camera with the wall - that's why I stopped doing such tests.
So, you have an amazing copy of the GM, I have an amazing copy of the Sigma ...

I posted the corners in my Samyang 85 vs Sigma thread...
