These are fantastic conversions, KD! I love 'em all, #10 blew me away, great lighting and every element is great! YGMV
thanks Shibu. appreciate it. Selecting pictures for B&W needs a lot of thinking, as I found out the hard way since I had to discard quite a few of them
The B and W versions are gorgeous. There is something in monchrome and you have done wonderful. Just because I am a radiologist, monochrome is my life.
BTW, wondering about the zebra picture. What color were the animals?
YGMV.
Mansur
, good one
thanks Mansur sirji, glad that were able to identify with monochrome
Thanks BN
I agree about the B&W impact. Took me years to realize it

Simply stunning series. I think these are extremely powerful as b&w images. I'm sure they'd be beautiful in color, but as b&w we really see the animals without being swayed by color.

Superb work, KD. 4, 5, 7 are very special. The tiger portraits 1 & 6 are beautiful, too. But I find it harder to disassociate a tiger from its colour.
thanks Rajan. Appreciate your support. I am actually more intrigued by B&W photography now than before. Point well taken about tigers though
Amazing set of images KD! Superb compositions and loved the BW edits. I always feel Elephants and lions look the best in BW than color. Would love to see those tiger pics in color though :-)
That tiger head-on....oh my.......Its my dream to get a frame like that!

You did a great job not only capturing these strong images but also converting them into beautiful B&Ws. Super set. EVFS

thanks so much Geoff. I am really getting into B&W processing. The most important thing is to select the right image to convert, anyway that is my most difficult task.
