Now #2 is a great place to enjoy the views Brother!

I will refrain from raising my blood pressure any further than it already is by commenting on #1. Has nothing to do with your image brother.
I have access to a bulldozer if Philly needs one!

Maybe you should move to a different country then.

Typical right-wing hot air. Why would I move to another country? It's not me who has a problem with a Latino majority, it's Neanderthals like you who feel threatened.

Guys, this is a photo forum, can we perhaps have at least ONE place left on the internet that's not infested by political posturing? Thanks.

The problem is that the OP always tries to indulge in political posturing

I agree, although I'm not sure that you fully understand why I reacted the way I did.

Hey there Phil. I thought your comment was in support of the language at the top of the thread about water cannons and bulldozers. Sorry if I misunderstood your comment.

It occurs to me when documenting the contrast in living conditions here in Philadelphia, substantive areas of which reflect years of the governmental ineptitude associated with the ONE political party elected continuously for the past 40 years, that doing so is inherently "political." For example, the next question could be asked quite naturally: Gee, which political party has held sway in this City of Brotherly love? I could tell you, but then I'd spoil your surprise.

@pingflood et al.

, I sure won’t speak for others, but I will demur with respect to your request. Some of your choices: a) suck it up and move on; b) organize a protest, gather a couple hundred protest PM’s, and perhaps an Umbrella or two, send them to Fred to tell him to bounce me from the site; c) expand your capacity for diversity and inclusivity to folks with whom who happen to disagree. And, given that I can appreciate it that many of you don’t like what I post, for whatever reason, instead of displaying your incredible capacities for juvenile, sideways, non-sequiters, d) Fred has this remarkable feature called a “HIDE ME” button. May I suggest that you, like others, use it anytime you wish so as to sanitize whatever posts of mine, to make use of the vernacular of the day, make you “uncomfortable.”

Enjoy your day

Anthony

Then why are you so upset about the protesters?

Phil, let me be clear. "I am I, you are you. I'm not in this world to live up to your expectations, nor you, mine. I do my thing, you do your thing. If by chance we meet, it's beautiful; if not, it can't be helped." My thanks to Fritz Perls for that enduring, solid advice.

Simplistic libertarian world view. Do you only care about yourself? Don't answer ... you're not in this world to live up to the expectations of anyone ... ;-)

Anthony,

Timely post.

But back to photography. They are your photos and you are naturally entitled to do what you want with them. If you are interested to hear how others may perceive the photos, here is my feedback: I find the over saturation disturbing. Particularly the bright cyan sky in the second image is way too much for my taste. I addition to looking at the image I find it useful to watch the histogram while editing to avoid clipping color channels.

Kind regards
Kaj

Kaj,

thanks kindly for your comments. Yes. My hero is Ken Rockwell. . Truth is, sometimes they are way over the top for me too, and yet, something I really like about max Sat. Anyhow, thanks for commenting.
