Thanks to Canon's nicely categorized permalinks, I did a quick URL alteration to find sample image pages from the new products. The bird shot with the 600 looks killer, while the 800 is a bit more dull (maybe due to slower shutter speeds). ISO 102400 on the R6 looks impressive considering the outrageous ISO setting. The 100-500 at 500 f7.1 on the R5 also looks pretty sharp. When paired with a sharp lens, the R5 provides some impressive image quality. I couldn't find any samples from the teleconverters though. Some of the samples look out of focus, which might be true considering Canon is notorious for providing the industry's worst sample shots.
For me, the standout is the 100-500 mounted to the R5. Seems the whole focal range is insanely sharp. The high price might be justified in this case.
Also keep in mind that some of the new lenses are sampled on the camera body pages.

The 85 looks great, and so does the 100-500. The eagle shot is nice; I cropped it very tightly on the head and still had a file of over 5000 pixels wide. Shot at 800 by the way; no clue about noise reduction but looks good to me, and if there's noise reduction sharpness still seemed fine.

Maybe next time whoever took that monkey photo will actually aim for the eyes and not the near cheek...FFS...how does stuff like this get published?
The good news is the monkey was shot on the R, not the R5, so we can't blame the Animal-Eye-AF...
Yes! I do not understand, too. The 2nd of the two dear is lovely but here too I am not convinced. Where exactly sits the focus? But the 600mm shot is tac sharp.
I think I am spoilt by good long glass, but the 800 f11 looks pretty poor. Not sure why Canon would have used that as a sample? The 600 is OK I guess. Similar to the Tamron or Sigma zooms I think. I don't think these lenses are for me.
Man that 100-500 is insanely sharp, I had reservations about it but that could be the alternative to the Sony 200-600 that I was hoping for. Looking forward to seeing some real-world use cases.

That 600mm shot of the duck looks really impressive to me. Considering the price, this looks like a great lens.
Geesh man! I spent an hour digging around on that site trying to find this "Duck" image to no avail.
That's a Tundra swan. But yes, that image looks pretty nice!
