Phenomenal captures of these kestrels, right down to the wholly complimentary perches (seemingly rare for kestrels). Beautiful light, great action, fascinating behavior--all!

I started to pick favorites, 1,5,7, then I quit. Too many good ones. Miss the Canon colors. Taken me awhile to get used to Sony colors. Outstanding set, Pius.

These kestrel photos are stunning. I love the composition and colors, as well as the variety of behaviors you've shared.
I use to try to photograph this species and have since given up because of their size and challenge to bridge the distance... clearly, you've produced a body of work that has always seemed near impossible to me.
If anyone from Vancouver Island wants to adopt a 55 year old man let me know
