The 28-200 is only 200 mm at the long end not 300 mm. That's a big difference. I wish the 70-300 was longer.

In the UK, shops are open again, so I might nip to my local and see if I can try it out - appreciate your response!

Unfortunately my funds do not stretch to the 70-180 at the moment :-(

Yes, that is true... however - I find I rarely use the 70-300 as I'm not the quickest at changing in the field... So I suppose the questions is how the 28-200 compares with the 28-75.

I'll start a post on that :-)
