This lens was my first ever 35mm, across all of the camera/lens I've shot in the last 20 something years since I started this hobby. Closest I guess would've been 24mm full frame lens on a crop body way back when I was using Minolta 5D. Which I didn't like very much because I wanted to use a wide angle and 24 is just not that wide on crop sensor.
Many many years later when I finally move to FF and A7IV I started playing with MF lenses and this was the first one I decided to try. Super bright at 1.2 and I figure I gotta try to shoot a 35mm. Well its fun and its probably the lens that's been on my camera the longest since I got it. Its relatively compact yet very substantial feeling. and all the touchy-feely bits of a CV lens is fun to use. I basically have a Tiffen Pro-Mist filter on it all the time which adds some interesting rendering to the photos I feel.
