Does anyone have experience using FedEx for printing a large format image? I've got a stitched image that's 11 foot long at 200dpi and I'm wondering how the quality and cost would be to have it done there. What kinds of papers do they use for these roll printers? I've never done anything even remotely this large, so this is new territory.
cost not too bad quality prob poor or fair if this is something you are going to display have it printed on quality paper by someone who know what they are doing not some who has no idea about fine art printing.
Have you ever used them for a large format print? I'm not talking about doing something online, I'm meant actually going to the location where they do the printing.
Hi have used them for wide print (yet not that length). Since I was not sure of the quality I had them run a test print of a small amount before I committed to the larger job. They were easy to work with and the result certainly met my needs. Yet it certainly depends on the final product you desire. Talk the about you job and the options they can provide for you and get a test print.

I suggest that you contact that local FedEx shop to find out exactly which equipment they are using and which profiles are available. You can also explain the use for the output and see what they have to say.
OK, thanks. I'll take the file in to them and see what they say. From what I've been able to find so far they probably use an HP DesignJet T1600 printer.
the one near me uses a epson 9000 and the best Matt paper they had was epson enhanced matt paper and they used the epson profile for that paper . they where nice just did not have the quality i wanted so i gave up and bought my own 9000 and print my own.
I remember a FedEx store had computer time for rent, including a connection to their Canon printer. 'Twas years ago, but you could ask about now and about their plans once COVD-19 isolation eases.
