Hello forum,
Last weekend I spent some time hiking in French Canyon, a branch off the East Virgin River. This gem has a spring, pretty good flow, enough to keep a jungle alive in a slot canyon. I felt like Indiana Jones exploring this place with ferns, vines, trees and whatnot. C&C welcome

Very Nice. I'm not accustomed to seeing so much lush greenery from Zion.

Beautiful greens!
First one is super!
Thanks NPFAN and xterra. The green is a shocking sight with the redrock but the most I visit the springs in Grand Canyon and Zion, the more I see that water changes EVERYTHING. Trees, ferns, and all types of plants grow if there's just enough water. This was a slot canyon AND spring with lots of growth. Wonderful combo.

The emerald green of Spring! Beautiful canyon walls and murky waters of the Spring water. All make for a beautiful composition!

Nice images. I like the second one best. Not the Zion I remember from a few years ago -- that's for sure.
Thanks Dan. Greens like this are a rarity in Utah.
Thanks Moondigger. Zion is beautiful but has many nooks and secrets to explore when you put forth effort to get out of the main trails.
