p.1 #1 · Calibrating LG Ultrafine 4k 24" monitor?

Hey All,
Just got my hands on a nice new monitor, an LG Ultrafine 4k 24". I've been using this website (http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/) to attempt to calibrate. Are his metrics even legit anymore It appears my sharpness is too high, but I can't figure out how to adjust it. Does anyone have experience manually calibrating this monitor? Would prefer not to purchase a calibrator (and still wouldn't know how to make adjustments) because I'm not "pro" and don't shoot for a living.

Thanks in advance.

Buy, rent or borrow a calibration device. The software is straightforward and doesn't require any "pro" skills at all.

Get yourself an i1Pro and be done with it. Absolutely the best calibration device for the money and it'll last you for years and years. And remember that it's always a two step process - Calibrate to a specific hardware standard and then the software generates a profile of THAT calibration for your system and color managed apps to use. And when you get your i1, choose the advanced mode and the large set of color patches. That makes a huge difference with modern screens. Takes a bit longer to calibrate but well worth the three or four additional minutes.
