KD you really got in tight and some great impact on the eyes and facial expressions on these. The cat shots are beautiful with those eyes and light. Great expression on the Angry Langur, and your bare 'asses' at sunset are stunning

You're joking right ? All instituted to protect man from man. In other words, If you set my house on fire and then show up to put the fire out I'm supposed to thank you ? Unbelievable.

A beautiful set of portraits! I agree with your commentary on being out of balance. The wildlife you show are declining rapidly because their natural balance is being destroyed by human intervention. We need to do more to restore their balance and find the right human balance.

No. But then again I'm not an antinatalist or misanthrope with enmity towards man. I choose to see man as at least trying to protect the natural environment - no doubt recognizing mistakes we have made and continue to make. And just because we have made mistakes doesn't mean we should forfeit our place in existence and just get out of nature's way. Didn't nature create us humans anyway?

I have noticed a striking decrease in the number of stray/wild monkeys on highways in India (at least the South). Did they succumb to human diseases? traffic accidents? reproductive issues?
Sunny
thanks Sunny. I believe that is accurate, since they are being driven to the cities by shrinking habitat and the city folks do not tolerate them. In addition, their diets change and that does not bode well for them as well.
