I don’t know what it is about Canadian waterfowl but they seem to let you closer than in California. :-). Lovely images and even better light. Glad you are getting over the crud.

Evan: Yes, that's one huge thing about the Sony a9, I always flip out the rear screen to get these low profile shots. It's a shame that trying this with the D850 didn't work due to their inferior AF system.
