So maybe a 80-400 to go along with the 500 at some point ? Then maybe get a prime for regular and wide angle ?

what do you think those primes going to get you vs a good zoom that includes those focal lengths.

I'm not against zooms in general, they have been getting better all the time, but in general primes have usually been better overall, and lighter. But If I see a zoom that fits the bill so to speak, I wouldn't be against that.
Why do you know about one I would be interested in ?
