Moving to Florida to court my now wife (she is awesome) I NEVER thought I would also fall in love with the beauty here, be teaching a whole new genre of nature photography, and embracing beach life! I'm a native Pacific Northwesterner (Oregonian) but I have always had a very special place in my heart for the ocean and water. I have gratitude in life's amazing twists and turns! ✌️
Details for the more inquisitive:

Just chillin' out wearing my shorts, flipflops and a tank top, sitting on a rock following waves with my zoom lens.
Processing is always correcting the image as much as possible in Adobe Camera Raw (or Lightroom Raw) then using the Gold Standard in workflow today: 32-bit Raw Layers (imported from Lightroom or Camera Raw) and then making use of some of Photoshops unprecedented finesse tools, cleaning up, fine-tuning and masking the image, but using 32-bit adjusted Raw Layer data instead of typical 16-bit.
Thank you, everyone. It has been such a therapeutic thing. I have been wanting to shoot waves day in and day out for many years and finally live next to the ocean!

Subtle rhythms, very alluring. I would take out the top strip of sky.
Thank you. I thought some might like it better without the horizon. Here it is. Please let me know if you like it better.

Oh yeah! One can just feel the primordial waves of energy of the cosmos in this. It's a big wall hanger.
