Nothing quite like seeing the desert southwest blanketed in snow. I used a long exposure to bring out some interesting light that wasn't readily apparent. These huge sandstone monoliths in Arches NP were really dramatic this very frigid morning.
Cheers,
Ken

Ha-ha! Yea, with a cloud-less sky when I awoke, I certainly contemplated sleeping in. I did get in my days worth of exercising while jumping up and down to stay warm in sub zero temperatures!
Beautiful Image Ken, Love seeing the Snow Covered Formations and wonderful light you captured. The Sprinkling of Stars really finished it off so nicely.

Very Nicely Done, Take Care,

Thanks! Yea, those ultra clear skies and winter light allowed those stars to continue to shine even to the break of dawn.
That DOES look frigid.
But this is an original and very cool image. So I think you should be happy with the result and it'll remind you of that night/morning forever!
