Terrific set of images, of which the first and the third are my favorites. With the deep snow you really had a lot of difficult work just to get to where you could shoot. The results are definitely worth all the effort.
Thank you all for voting. Also, it's not snow that makes things difficult. It does to some extend of course, but I'd say temperature is what kills the fun of shooting in winter, and camera's operation at low temps. I'm glad the internal monitor worked so I could focus and see what I'm shooting. Otherwise, I'd get nothing....

That's a little scary. I'm headed up to a place near Churchill next week and we're told to expect temperatures down to -40° (C or F, it doesn't matter) and maybe up to a balmy 0°F. When bundled up I resemble the Michelin Man turned bank robber, with a black balaclava. Operating a camera under those conditions will be a challenge.
